THE JUANE Juane is a typical dish from our Peruvian jungle. It is a very traditional dish from a party here in the jungle, called "the feast of San Juan". where you eat a lot of juane and its chicha de jora. the juane is prepared with rice mixed with egg and seasonings from the region, a prey of regional chicken and olives and a boiled egg are incorporated, all this wrapped with bijao leaf. cook it for 1 hour over low heat. once ready, it is accompanied with its cocona or onion chili. It is a very delicious dish that I recommend to all those who have not tried it yet.

Eating habits

Hi i'm wick I live in iquitos, and here where I live, they eat very delicious. For breakfast I usually drink my exotic fruit juice, either accompanied by egg bread or carterita bread, or I simply accompany my juice with a delicious juane.  For lunch I love to eat red, green noodles or whatever has to do with noodles hahaha, or sometimes I usually eat fried foods, such as milanesas or roast chicken with puree. For dinner I like to have my coffee with bread or I just go to eat something delicious in a restaurant, because I get tired from work.
