MY NEIGHBORHOOD

My neighborhood is very quiet. I live in the Juan Pablo urbanization, in the San Juan district of the city of Iquitos. I like this place because it is quiet, there is hardly a lot of noise from the city and I can concentrate when I read a book.

Getting to my house is a bit complicated hahaha. but to guide you I explain this way. You enter through Av Quiñones, there is an entrance that will take you to the urbanization, then you turn to the left side, then to the right side you enter through a garage, at the end of the garage, you enter through the right side and you are guided by a synthetic court , and there are many trees around my neighborhood. In front of the synthetic court is my house.

Here is a map that can help you better, in the black circle is my neighborhood.

The Cajuesinho: My favorite restaurant

My favorite restaurant is El Cajuesinho, it is located at 191 Fitzcarrald Street. It is an excellent place to have a good time with friends. It has a very cozy and very cool atmosphere, the live music is very relaxing and frees you from any stress from the outside world. I really like the logo, it is very striking, it is very similar to that of starbucks, but this one is more original, with a name from Loreto and its original flavor is gradually conquering the region. It has an extensive menu and à la carte dishes. Net dishes from the Peruvian jungle to the most traditional in the world. But what I like the most about them is their delicious coffee, that coffee with that bitter touch that takes away stress. I also really like their cremoladas and their frapps, frapps with fruits from the Peruvian jungle and many varieties of liquor. To anyone who asks me about a restaurant in my city, I would definitely recommend EL CAJUESINHO.

Eating habits

Hi i'm wick I live in iquitos, and here where I live, they eat very delicious. For breakfast I usually drink my exotic fruit juice, either accompanied by egg bread or carterita bread, or I simply accompany my juice with a delicious juane.  For lunch I love to eat red, green noodles or whatever has to do with noodles hahaha, or sometimes I usually eat fried foods, such as milanesas or roast chicken with puree. For dinner I like to have my coffee with bread or I just go to eat something delicious in a restaurant, because I get tired from work.

THE JUANE Juane is a typical dish from our Peruvian jungle. It is a very traditional dish from a party here in the jungle, called "the feast of San Juan". where you eat a lot of juane and its chicha de jora. the juane is prepared with rice mixed with egg and seasonings from the region, a prey of regional chicken and olives and a boiled egg are incorporated, all this wrapped with bijao leaf. cook it for 1 hour over low heat. once ready, it is accompanied with its cocona or onion chili. It is a very delicious dish that I recommend to all those who have not tried it yet.
