THE JUANE
Juane is a typical dish from our Peruvian jungle. It is a very traditional dish from a party here in the jungle, called "the feast of San Juan". where you eat a lot of juane and its chicha de jora. the juane is prepared with rice mixed with egg and seasonings from the region, a prey of regional chicken and olives and a boiled egg are incorporated, all this wrapped with bijao leaf. cook it for 1 hour over low heat. once ready, it is accompanied with its cocona or onion chili. It is a very delicious dish that I recommend to all those who have not tried it yet.
